New look Be Inspirational Site
We’ve got a new way of doing things on the Be Inspirational site! Lead and planned by you, we’ll now follow a pattern of different activates each day for you to make your own and ensure that all four senses are engaged in our prayer life.
We’re going to take all your feedback on board this week as we trial this week’s resources with the whole school and we’ll then begin with our new approach after Half Term.

At 11:50am on Monday, the school bell will ring for prayer. Please join the teams link on Monday’s 11:50am Peace Prayer tab as we join Bishop Patrick and lots of other people pray for peace in response to the ongoing war and conflict in our world.
Pentecost Celebration of the Word Video
Before starting this week’s Celebration of the Word, please make sure that the room is quiet, there are no distractions and that our focus is on this time of Collective Worship together, just as it would be if we were sat in the hall or chapel.

The Word of the Week is Pentecost
We begin with the Sign of the Cross
Pentecost is where we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit. At Pentecost the Holy Spirit came down upon the apostles in the form of tongues of fire, and they were filled with the Spirit and began to speak in other languages. This day is often referred to as the Church’s birthday as it marks the moment when the disciples were inspired to go out into the world to share the good news, and to bring people to Christ.
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles,
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The events of Pentecost were a confusing time for the disciples. They were trying to make sense of what was happening and what was going to happen next. It’s a feeling we can all understand.
12T have chosen the above piece of artwork for you to study. Take some time in your prayer Journals to think about what you see in the image and what it makes you think about.
Are you worried about something right now?
Do you need courage to face a situation?
Do you have a message that needs to be heard right now?
Use the music below to set the atmosphere if you wish, and take some time to look at the image. Really think and reflect on what the message might be for you.

Aeroflames!
Pentecost is when we celebrate not just the coming of the Holy Spirit in tongues of fire but also what it inspired the disciples to do – to go out in to the world and spread the Good News.
To help us be inspired and to spread the Good News this morning we’re going to create ‘Areoflames!’ copyright 12T*
Using the orange/red/or yellow piece of paper you’ll be given in form, write down something that inspires you and where you can see the Holy Spirit at work. Talk about what you’re going to put on your plane with those in your form.
Then, turn your paper into the best paper plane you can! Help is below if you need some tips!
At 8:55am make sure that your form group is in the Plaza (Weather permitting!) for the big launch where we will film your ‘Aeroflames’ take flight and celebrate the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
12T will lead the countdown of the launch and after the launch we will need every student to pick up a paper aeroplane before they return inside so that all aeroplanes are collected and no paper is left outside.
Holy Spirit, inspire in us today to be bold and brave. Amen.
