“Welcome” – Whole School Resources
We are in the 22nd week of Ordinary Time.
“Welcome!”
We are all called to welcome others into our communities, to open our doors and bring people in – particularly those on the margins and those who feel left out. Being welcoming helps those new to our community to feel loved, supported and included. We are all one body in Christ, everyone is welcome, and everyone has a part to play.
This week’s Prayer Intentions are…
- For our school community as we enter a new school year and we welcome our new year 7’s & 12’s!
- For the new staff starting, that they may feel welcome
Please keep these intentions in your prayers this week, and don’t forget to add any suggestions for prayer intentions in the comments box below.

Good morning, we invite you begin our time of prayer today by making the sign of the cross…
In the name of the Father and of Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen
Hi everyone! Welcome to a new school year. During this time in form we invite you watch the video below to learn more about BeInspirational.
As we heard in the word of the week we invite you to get to know a stranger! Find someone in your form you don’t know and tell them something about you. This could be:
- Something you have done over the summer
- Your favourite hoddies
- How you feeling about starting school
Let us pray…
Lord,
Thank you for bringing us together. Children for all different schools coming together as one community. Lord we ask that grant us the courage to enter into this year with you as our example. Holy spirit fill us and send us out into the wider community to show love and understanding. Amen
We end by inviting you to make the sign the cross
In the name of the Father and of Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen
